CELCAT Timetabler launched at St Sebastian Balika Maha Vidyalaya - Kandana

 

St Sebastian’s Balika Maha Vidyalaya at Kandana is a secondary school with a great deal of history. The school was started in 1928 with sixty five students and three teachers conducting its studies in English medium. Blooming the efforts of Rev. Fr. Romould, then Parish Priest of St. Sebastian's church, Kandana; Sebastian's Balika Vidyalaya continued its progressive journey with the contributory responsibilities of then principal, a reverend sister of Good Shepherd Congregation. The school has gained success in many fields of education and practical skills in the zone bearing its motto; "Through knowledge to virtue', under the keen and diligent guidance of the present principal Rev. Sir. Mary Goretti. As an experience administrator, she intent to purchase CELCAT for St Sebastian’s Balika Maha Vidyalaya in order to modernise their timetabling system.

 

 

 

CELCAT Timetabler launched at De Mazenod College - Kandana

 

De Mazenod College at Kandana is one of the shining examples of a semi government education establishment which is administered by De La Salle brothers. De Mazenod College is a Catholic school which consist of Primary and Secondary levels with a total student population of over 3500. Over the years the College was able to produce exceptional A/L results within Negombo Division, Western Province, Sri Lanka. The present principal of De Mazenod College, Rev Bro Bertram Perera along with their College development group made a critical decision to implement CELCAT timetabler for the whole College in order to modernise their existing manual system so that the College can optimise their use of physical and human resources as well as to improve their management reporting.
